The Tension Clamp is a single hardware accessory designed for tension connections on conductors or cables. It is primarily used in overhead transmission lines or distribution lines to secure wires and suspension rods to overhead line poles or nonlinear poles in substations. These clamps are connected to insulators through line clamps or lightning rods fixed on the tower, providing mechanical support to both the insulator and conductor. The Tension Clamp is also known as a dead-end strain clamp or quadrant strain clamp.
